On 26th November, NRDC-ITA Commander, Lieutenant General Roberto Perretti visited the NATO Security Force Assistance (SFA) Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Cesano di Roma, in the vicinity of Rome.

NRDC – ITA provides mid-term planning course

the 4th “Mid-term planning course” for essential augmentees and sub-units officers was successfully held by NRDC-ITA HQ at the ”Ugo  Mara” Barracks.
Twenty officers from the Italian Army, ranked OF2 - OF4, were trained on tactical mid-term and hasty planning in addition to refinement of an operational order and synchronization of operational activities.

Major General Maurizio RICCÒ, Chief of Staff of the NRDC-ITA (NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Italy), delivered a presentation at the Institute of Maritime Military Studies, in Venice, on the subject of operational planning to the latest class of Officers from the Italian Navy Staff Course.

NRDC-ITA Operations’ Division Chief visited the 9th German Armoured Brigade in Letzlingen, in the vicinity of Magdeburg, during one of the major training events while achieving its NATO certification to cover the role of Very High Joint Task Force (VJTF). EAGLE GHOST 2018 has begun

A new exercise to maintain and consolidate acquired operational planning capabilities
The first phase of the EAGLE GHOST 2018 exercise has just begun, aimed at maintaining skills and capabilities required by the Alliance for headquarters in charge of the NATO Response Force.

International Day 2018

On 19 th May the annual International Day - a day for Charity - took place for the first time at the Milano Innovation District (MIND).
The event was both an opportunity for fun and socialising with families, but also served to raise money for worthy charities.
The day was a celebration of the 15 different nations that work together in the NRDC-ITA. It was an opportunity also to invite local institutions, associations and notable organisations, which have a relationship with the headquarters.

Eagle Eye 2018 a seminar on Sahel

The annual "Eagle Eye" conference, organized by the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps-Italy (NRDC-ITA) concluded today.

NRDC-ITA at the 47th Stramilano

About 1000 runners from Allied and Italian military personnel and their families of the NRDC-ITA and subordinate units participated in the 47th edition of the Stramilano, a traditional event that Milan organizes for running enthusiasts.

Disaster and Crisis Manager Course

Following the agreements signed last year between NRDC-ITA and Carlo Cattaneo University - LIUC of Castellanza (VA), a round table was held on Saturday 20 January to mark the end of the university training course for "Trainers and managers of Human Resources for Security, Protection and Civil Defence".  NRDC-ITA contributed to this by providing a Medical Officer for lessons on the subject of “Major Incident Medical Management and Support – MIMMS”.
