SOLBIATE OLONA (VA), 03 Dec 2004. This HQ is due to host the latest in the biannual NATO G9 civil/military cooperation conferences on behalf of ACO (SHAPE) CG9.
The purpose of the conference is to continue a common development of the CIMIC policy and activities of the HQs, study the effects-based approach to operations and address the issues facing NATO CIMIC in this period of transformation. The main forum will be preceded by a meeting of the 6 high readiness force CIMIC chiefs which will focus on ratifying the 2^nd NRDC CIMIC Concepts and Doctrine Working Group.
