Since 2nd November, NRDC-ITA is hosting the Mobile Education and Training Team (METT) from NATO School Oberammergau (NSO) which is conducting a Comprehensive Operational Planning Course (COPC). The COPC is considered one of the top courses on offer from NSO, and as such over 100 officers and non- commissioned officers are receiving the two weeks training. Personnel from NRDC-ITA, the Italian Army’s Friuli Division and NRDC – Greece will receive top quality tuition by 25 Instructors from the NSO, SHAPE, Joint Force Command (Naples), International Organisations, as well as organic expertise with NRDC-ITA. The training team, led by a General Officer, will ensure the personnel working in the Joint Operational Planning Group at NRDC-ITA and elsewhere in NATO maintain the ability to conduct detailed comprehensive campaign planning at a high level to be ready for potential operations worldwide.
