Between 7-11 september 2015, NRDC ITA is conducting important Induction Training for newly assigned personnel to the Headquarters.
This training activity is aimed at providing newcomers with an initial overview about NATO environment, the latest update on new NATO concepts and developments, NATO' s challenges and level of ambition as well as the NRDC ITA HQs Structure, Core Functions and Processes. Thirty-nine personnel from the NRDC ITA contributing Nations' representatives are attending the induction training which was organized by the J7 (Training) Branch of the Operations Division. It is being presented in three parts to facilitate a smooth transition to operational staff work for the newcomers.The first part consists of briefings about NATO and the NRDC HQ concepts and working environments to understand important aspects of the Political and Strategic context in which they work, the second is devoted to provide the newcomers with technical information on functional area services for use within the HQ.The third and final part is dedicated to on the job training in close coordination with each branch. This is providing the opportunity to train the HQ's Staff Officers on functional area services used within the NRDC ITA HQ's respective branches. This comprehensive Induction Training for New Staff Officers has been well received and it is set to facilitate the full integration of fresh minds into the organization.
