Milan, 3rd November 2016 - Today at the “Santa Barbara” barracks in Milan, in the presence of NRDC-ITA Commander, Major General Roberto Perretti, took place the 1st Signal Regiment change of command ceremony. The event marked the handover between Col. Ferdinando Munno and the incoming Commander, Col.  Michele Mastronardi.
After a two years challenging tour of command, Col. Munno thanked in his farewell speech the servicemen and women of the 1st Signal Regiment for their commitment in fulfilling the mission and tasks for the unit.
Equipped with the state-of-the-art digital communications systems, the 1st Signal Regiment provides NRDC-Italy with the support it needs to meet the requirements of a certified deployable NATO Joint Task Force HQ.
