Italian language course for NRDC-ITA staff

Solbiate Olona (VA), 19th October 2016. 49 NRDC-ITA non-Italian staff started yesterday a new Italian language course under the direction of Ltc Paolo RIZZO, from NRDC-ITA Influence Division/JFires, who also wrote the learning book, “Sinossi di Italiano” (“Italian Synopsis”).

Maj. Gen. Sir Edward Alexander SMYTH-OSBOURNE, NRDC-ITA Deputy Commander, during his inauguration speech, stressed the importance of giving NRDC-ITA non-Italian personnel the opportunity to learn the hosting nation language thus facilitating their integration with the local community. The activity also allows the strengthening of the membership, with particular focus on newcomers and their integration within the HQ.
The course, which was already carried out successfully last year, will be held twice a week, from 18th October 2016 to 31st May 2017. In accordance with the language knowledge skills, the learners have been divided in two classes, beginners and intermediate.
