NRDC-ITA Staff celebrates the 240th United States Independence Day

SOLBIATE OLONA (VA), 4th July 2016. Today the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Italy (NRDC-ITA) staff is glad to celebrate the 240th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress proclaiming the Thirteen Nations as a new nation, no longer part of the British Empire.
The anniversary of the Declaration of Independence from Great Britain followed the approval of the resolution by the Thirteen Colonies occurred on July 2, 1776.

Celebrated on June the 30th, together with the Slovenian Statehood day (recurring on 25th June), the anniversaries have been opened by Lt. Gen. Riccardo Marchiò’s remarks, recalling the strong independence willingness that led both nations to autonomy.
