Solbiate Olona, July 04, 2022. With the exercise C2TF Jackal 2022 the 33rd Tactical and Logistic Support Regiment Ambrosiano tested its logistic projection capability and conducted specific infantry training at the Italian Army shooting range located in Foce Reno.

The exercise was aimed at consolidating the training level of the personnel, as well as testing the logistical, operational and force protection support capabilities of the Regiment which has the task of projecting and supporting the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Italy (NRDC-ITA) in any type of intervention within the 3 core tasks of the Alliance: collective defense, crisis management and cooperative security.

During the two weeks of intense exercise activities, the staff of the Command and all its units - 3rd Bersaglieri Company Celere, Engineer Company, Transports Company, Administrative and Supply Company - tested their procedures in terms of readiness, effectiveness and adherence both in the context of support tasks and in purely Combat contexts.

In this regard, the trained Task Force conducted a live exercise of platoon assaults, carried out specifically by the 3rd Bersaglieri Company, simulating the reaction to an attack to the NRDC-ITA HQ. In addition, all the staff employed had the opportunity to train continuously to maintain their combat power skills, thanks to the conduct of day and night fire activities with the use of many weapons.

The activity was necessary to confirm the promptness and the rapidity, peculiarities of the Regiment, as this exercise comes after a very demanding period for the Unit, already interested several times in the last two years in providing support to the population in all the operations connected with the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
